Helitool, LLC was established in 1989 to manufacture overhaul tooling for Sikorsky S64 and S61 helicopters. In 1994 I bought a 1952 flat fender Power Wagon. The brakes were the worst I have ever used, so I made a set of disc brakes for it using Tim Peterson's design. Dave Cirillo suggested that I should make a few extra "You might be able to sell 20 sets." We ended up making 700 sets over the last eight years.
I am 56 years old and have been an aircraft overhaul mechanic and machinist most of my life.
